The first floor rooms and reception nice. Our room was ok and clean.
Given a pokey back room looking over yard of hotel when booked specifically a sea view Room, this was however rectified! Dirty windows inside! Shabby paintwork and exterior in bad way. No bar open. Not asked at breakfast how we would like our breakfast cooked and service was awful. Restaurant not open.....and if it was, going on breakfast, cannot imagine it being as advertised on your website!
Not a lot really room dirty. Windows dirty.no mirror in bathroom . bedside lights not working .no restaraunts open in evening .paint on doors not enough towls .breakfast pre cooked and cold . windows let cold air in .
Needs a lot of improvement
no hairdryer in room. Room so small that we had to turn sideways to get past the bed. Very tired hotel in need of updating rooms and common parts. Breakfast was average.
Location was perfect, hotel staff friendly, although a bit short on the ground. 1 poor lass was manning reception and the bar on Friday night. I had read poor reviews on trip advisor....well it couldnt be further from the truth. I will return next year at least a couple of times, to visit family and a new grandchild!!
Our room was small but totally adequate for a 2 night stay
No brown bread or selection of cereals at breakfast Ensuite size of cupboard, had to dry myself in bedroom Drilling and banging in hallway Lift and chall full of halls and dirty No receptionist on arrival
very nice room and a nice sea view
it would be nice to have room service
i couldnt have hoped for nicer or friendlier staff bent over backwards to help me
food needs to really be tackled not up to standard
The staff where fantastic, really good value At £60 for dinner, bed and breakfast for two people. How can anyone complain at that. The receptionist was fabulous, and all the serving staff were very attentive. Great value and very comfy bed Mr Lee Fincham
Location and sea view
No bedside lamps just middle light not convenient to an insomniac reader! Bathroom was very small couldn't swing a cat in it Too busy at breakfast time couldn't find where we were eating, moved twice and last day gave up and went into town for breakfast!
I read alot of reviews of this hotel and was very worried but was very surprised when we arrived it was very clean. The staff was lovely and the rooms nice and comfortable. We paid 65 for our and breakfast and it was lovely would stay again.
Parking was really bad but we was warned it gets busy but didnt expect to have to walk 2 miles.
breakfast was nice
dirty room dirty bathroom holes in walls very dated
my wife and myself really enjoyed our stay at the hilton.
Room was cramped. Decor very tired. Heating excessive. Wished we'd booked the travelodge which was more central with hindsight. Had to park in back streets where could find a space. Glad we hadn't got the children with us!
A good basic hotel on the sea front
Our two night stay was a engagment gift from my parents, they could not have chosen better, the staff were very friendly, especially the lady who greeted us, the room was far better than I could have expected, the swan towels were a really nice surprise, we had a fantastic stay and the view from our balcony was the iceing on the cake, Thank you all !
Nothing we didn't like would have liked a few more days lol
